In 1997, WSS launched an Employment Edition of the Women's Sports Wire (Women's Sports Job Wire).

In September of 2000, WSS launched its online sports career center, WomenSportsJobs.com, to support women in sports related careers. In 2002, the company expanded its career development and recruiting services to specialize in meeting the needs of women, minorities and professional athletes.
